One of the best tools for diagnosing skin concerns and seeing what's really going on is by using some form of digital skin analysis machine to capture images of skin conditions such as blemishes, wrinkles, texture, pores, UV spots and redness.
At The Source we use Observ Skin Analysis as one of our main consultation tools. The Observ uses specialised lighting and camera technology to scan the skin and generate a series of images that reveal the underlying layers. You really will be amazed what we can see below the surface of the skin, we see what the naked eye can't!
Through this process we can help you understand your skin so much better treat and even prevent skin problems before they intensify and become visible!
The whole appointment will take around 45 mins.
Capturing the pictures takes less that 5 minutes, you put your head inside the Observ placing your chin on a chinrest. During the picture capturing you will notice different lights flashing around you, the pictures are also captured from different angles ensuring photo's of your skin like never before!
Next is the analysis of your skin. During this process, we observe the different light modes together and analyse all aspects of your skin, inside and out. We will will be able to look in detail at wrinkles, scars, acnes, areas of inflammation, dryness/oiliness, hidden pigmentation, vascular damage, collagen degradation, areas that are aging prematurely, and more.
The final step is to summarise all of our findings into a Skin Analysis Report which we can email to you.
The report includes all of your detailed photo's and areas of concern that have been discussed, we can design a treatment plan and homecare protocol that is tailored to your specific skin needs and get you started on your skin journey.
As you progress through your treatment plan we can then use these photo's as a comparison as we begin to see your skin's improvement.
