Spring; a lovely reminder of how beautiful change can be...

As the seasons change, so should our skin care and who wouldn't want to know how to keep their skin glowy in the summer months!

It's as simple as tweaking your products to take good care of your skin by cleansing, exfoliating, keeping it hydrated and filled with antioxidants.

Cleansing will get rid of dirt and impurities on the skin and prepped for the next steps in your routine. Throughout the day skin is constantly covered with bacteria and pollutants so it is important to cleanse morning and night to keep the skin fresh.

We love the Flexi Cleansing Tool alongside the hydra boost to help give a deep cleanse and make your products work harder.

Exfoliating will help to rejuvenate the skin by getting rid of the dull dead cells on the surface, keeping it looking smoother, brighter and healthier. Our skin's natural exfoliation process slows down as we age, so it is important to help to speed this back up with products. Through the colder months heating and cold weather play havoc on our skins so increasing exfoliation at the change of season will help to minimise the skin feeling dull and dry.

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that is essential to the skin. It has multiple benefits like improving the natural healing process, anti-ageing, brightening, protection from irritation and inflammation and also evens out the skin tone. We recommend using this daily for best results and achieving helping to achieve the springtime glow.

Hydrating the skin is key. When our skin is dehydrated this usually causes our skin to look dull and tired. By hydrating the skin this will improve the appearance by plumping and removing toxins to create a healthy glow. Dehydration can also show as very fine lines on the skin which are sometimes mistaken for ageing lines. Hyaluronic Acid is a brilliant ingredient to add into your routine to help with this, sometimes through the spring and summer a hydrating serum with SPF is enough for the skin without using a moisturiser. Some people will prefer to still use a moisturiser but may switch to a lighter one.

Chloe's Top Tip: "AlumierMD Bright and Clear is a must have product in your routine.

It has exfoliating properties with Lactic and salicylic acids, and contains Superox-C which is a rich source of vitamin C to brighten; giving you a smooth and luminous complexion."
